NO FOD

Going to bed, and then waking up to the daylight photos of the tornadic devastation across Arkansas and Oklahoma left me lacking the initiative to make catty comments about the jerk in the White House.

I grew up in Tornado Alley, I live in the southern part of it today, and I hate everything about springtime storms that spawn these outbreaks.

So, no FOD today.  Instead, keeping a good thought for those affected by the storms.

Oh c'mon. While I share your compassion towards the storm victims (when I was 5 years old we got hammered by a tornado in Waco), there's got to be some way we can blame this on obama. After all, global warming (or climate change, or whatever the hell they're calling it these days) is all Bush's fault...

Okay, Obama's fault. Not that I am a big advocate of the government funding things that individuals should take personal responsibility for, but, Congress has cut FEMA funding every year for the past 5. No storm mitigation funds, people on a decade's long waiting list for storm shelter money. But the prez and wifey get a monthly vacation.
