FOD

In case you missed it, Obama took time out of his busy schedule to issue a statement on the death of film critic Roger Ebert.  A man, who, undoubtedly, shaped the lives of many Americans who followed his suggestions on what movies were worth seeing.  United States Navy SEAL, Patriot, Defender of Freedom, Chris Kyle...not a word.

As to that busy schedule - North Korea's rumblings, those pesky unemployment numbers, and that damn sequester - times are so bad that the White House still isn't giving tours, decided to cancel the Jewish American Heritage event, and is starving the staff of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz...

Meanwhile...the Obama girls divided their spring break between the Bahamas and Idaho.  And Obama found time to attend an NCAA basketball game.  And:
the Obamas took in an exclusive viewing in the White House theater of the movie “42,” which chronicles the life of Jackie Robinson, with the film’s cast and crew. Earlier, in the day, Michelle hosted a “42 Film Workshop” for kids in the State Dining Room that featured Harrison Ford.
Obama even got in a reception for the Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and major league soccer champs LA Galaxy on March 26. And there’s money around to transport him to the golf links, where he traveled by motorcade last weekend.
The White House announced...that the 10th concert in its "In Performance at the White House" series would go on April 16. Set to perform are Al Green, Ben Harper, Queen Latifah, Cyndi Lauper and Justin Timberlake, among many others.
And
President Obama went out for a round of golf Saturday afternoon, his second weekend in a row to hit the links at a course at Joint Base Andrews.
Golf Count = 118 rounds in 50.5 months.
